How to determine your child's age bracket
Each player is assigned to the appropriate bracket based on their age as of July 31st of the current season. The "U" stands for "under", so U6 means "players under 6" which would be 5 year old players. Following that pattern, U8 means "under 8" which would be the 6 and 7 year old players.
For example, if your child is 9 years old and has a birthday of September 8th, they would be in U10 age bracket.

* The U6-U12 age brackets play on a specific pair of nights and we keep it consistent year after year so that families have a general plan to work from. We are not able to accommodate requests to change the nights of play. Practices
Each coach is asked to establish a practice schedule to meet their team's needs and to adhere to the following guidelines: - Begin practicing the first or second week of May
- Hold at least 6 practices, but schedule 8 so that weather cancellations can be taken into account
- Only schedule practices during the game season if the team agrees to it
- Practices should be about the same length of time as the games, which is about 45 minutes for younger players and 75 minutes for older players
